About ME

RunMonks is a passion driven running and holistic fitness community platform built by Kushagra Sharma who himself is an ardent runner and holistic fitness & lifestyle evangelist. Powered by the 505 Circle – RunMonks believes in the philosophy of balance between Mind, Body and Soul and attempts to activate the “Zen”in each one of us.

Kushagra started his running journey in the year 2014, when he quit smoking and wanted an outlet that could take care of his cravings and overcome this addiction and that its when he picked up “Running”.

With no ambition or skills to run long distances, he just progressed each day, connected with different coaches, peers and runners to understand running. He ran because it was liberating and gave him a sense of freedom from the nicotine addiction, with every run he was far less anxious, running gave him and still gives him time to reflect and put things into perspective, it gives him strength to channelize his energy, it helps him kill stress, it makes him confident, it makes him happy, it gives him a high far greater than the buzz of a cigarette. #IfHecanSoCanYou.





Running in his own words takes him into a #ZenMode and here he is 7 years clean trying to propagate the idea of running and holistic fitness through @runmonks which gives him a great sense of pride and accomplishment, he will continue on this journey and invite many more shining stars and help reflect their inspirational journey through stories captured on  #RunMonks to provide tremendous value and service to the society by making it Positive, Healthy, Resilient and Self Sustaining.
